TMT Lawn Mowing began in 2012, but the roots of our business go back much further. Tanner started mowing lawns as a teenager, taking on a few neighborhood yards for extra income. What started as a handful of lawns quickly grew into 20, then 100, as he realized the potential of a well-run lawn care business.
After high school, Tanner attended Tompkins Cortland Community College, where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. While in college, he interned with several excavation and landscaping companies, gaining valuable industry experience—all while
continuing to run his lawn mowing business during the summers. It was during this time that he recognized his true passion for working outdoors and decided to expand beyond lawn care.
